Do you believe in signs?

Often, as I sit on my patio, a bright red cardinal visits me. This little bird is surprisingly bold, coming right up to the screen as if it’s studying me and waiting for my reaction. I’ve always found comfort in the idea that seeing a cardinal means you’re receiving a visit from someone who has passed away. My husband and I share this belief. Whenever a cardinal appears in our yard, we look at each other and say, “There she is,”
